Refer a Family
Physicians, social workers, child life specialists, and case managers, and other healthcare professionals may refer families facing financial, geographic, or logistical barriers to specialized pediatric care. Kairi's Star Foundation may assist eligible families with care-access needs such as travel, lodging, transportation, passports, and other approved support. Assistance is based on eligibility, available funding, and the individual needs of each family.

What Happens After a Referral?
After a healthcare professional submits a referral, Kairi's Star Foundation reviews the family’s circumstances, verifies eligibility and care-access needs, and determines what assistance may be available based on funding and the individual needs of the family.

Please Note: Assistance is not guaranteed. No approval, funding, or immediate assistance is promised during the review process.

Referral Guidelines
Healthcare professionals are encouraged to refer families who are experiencing financial, geographic, or logistical barriers to accessing specialized pediatric care. Referrals may be submitted by physicians, social workers, child life specialists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals involved in the child’s care.
Each referral to Kairi’s Star Foundation is carefully reviewed to understand the family’s eligibility, care-access needs, available funding, and unique circumstances. While we strive to support as many families as possible, assistance cannot be promised or guaranteed.
